Using Macros
Overview
Macros are saved sequences of actions that agents can execute with one click.
Creating a Macro
- Go to Settings → Macros
- Click Add a new macro
- Add actions in sequence:
- Add/remove labels
- Assign to agent/team
- Send message
- Change status
- Send email transcript
- Set visibility (Personal/Team)
- Save macro
Executing Macros
- Open a conversation
- Click the macro icon (+ sign) in sidebar
- Preview macro actions (info icon)
- Click play button to execute
Example Macros
Close and Thank
- Send canned response: "thanks"
- Add label: "resolved"
- Change status: "resolved"
Escalate to Manager
- Add label: "escalated"
- Assign to: Manager
- Send internal note: "Needs attention"

- Order actions logically
- Test before sharing
- Use for repetitive workflows
